The Blackbull Hotel in Tarbolton is a small gem with outstanding staff, excellent room amenities including a superb shower room and beautiful towels. The cooked-to-order breakfast was absolutely delicious and the attached restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices. The hotel has been renovated to a high standard and provides excellent value for money.

This hotel really knows how to make guests feel welcome. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff like Ewan, who even helped us with our luggage. The beautifully decorated room with its fantastic bathroom and shower was a cozy and warm retreat. And the adjacent pub was a perfect addition, offering reasonable drink prices and a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant was a standout, with its intimate decor and fabulous food. We ended up eating here every night of our stay, thanks to the helpful and friendly staff. this hotel exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return.
